Argon Gas
In our low emissitivity glass, we can put Argon Gas in the vacuum gap between the panes. Agron Gas is a Noble Gas, and does not react with any other element. The primary use of Argon Gas in double glazing is to slow down convection of heat inside the space. It can improve both the thermal and the accoustic properties of the glass. Krypton and Xenon are also used as substitutes for Argon by some manufacturers, but the heat-saving properties remain the same.

Double-glazed units take approximately two to three days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturers guarantee. If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of Argon gas, to further facilitate heat management. We can also supply and install triple-glazed units on request for Whyteleafe and the local area.
